I felt part of a group for the first time in my life. Not a family, just a group of people who liked being together, who sat as we did, leaning towards each other, leaving just the right amount of space in between, whose thoughts and words flowed easily and naturally, whose voices and accents were so different from each other and yet mingled in harmony as though in a song.

Eventually, it boils down to two choices _ do I wish to experience this physical reality primarily through joy or do I want to experience it through suffering? That__ all there is to it. And since each person eventually works their way toward the realization that conscious expansion can happen through joy rather than suffering _ enlightenment is a natural byproduct.

Even then the heart still opens and reaches, tendrils of hope curling and bending toward slivers of light. Upward, outward, in all directions _ seeking light at all cost. One way or another, we all grow toward the light.

Different plants thrive together in a well nurtured garden. Just as they thrive, they pass on a message to mankind - God created us all to thrive with one another and planted love in our hearts for this reason. Let's learn to embrace each other, knowing Love is all we have to keep us growing and going.
