You can't live an obedient life and miss an adventure. Following the commands of Christ is not just about behavior. Behavior modification is not an end in itself in the New Testament. Transformation is about knowing the truth and the truth setting you free.

By the time we were knit in our mothers' wombs, our lives were like open books before Him--every sentence read, every paragraph indented, every chapter titled, every page numbered. He knew it all in advance--all the sin, all the selfishness, every weakness. Yet He chose to love us--lavishly.

...if God teaches us victory in Christ Jesus day by day, we live in the constant awareness of His greatness and His sufficiency. Hard lessons are often long-lasting lessons. Never forget that God is far more interested in our getting to know the Deliverer than simply being delivered.

Peace is one of the most obvious earmarks of the authority of Christ.

God surpasses our dreams when we reach past our personal plans and agenda to grab the hand of Christ and walk the path he chose for us. _He is obligated to keep us dissatisfied until we come to him and his plan for complete satisfaction.

What a beautiful name. I love to watch how it falls off the lips of those who love Him. I shudder as it falls off the lips of those who don't. Jesus.

Courage comes from a heart that is CONVINCED it is loved.

I have to have a daily, vibrant relationship with Jesus in order to survive that process toward healing.

I don't know what kind of courage it took thousands of years ago, but I know how courageous women need to be today.

If a brokenhearted mother could sing, I could not remain silent.

Faith is not believing in my own unshakable belief. Faith is believing an unshakable God when everything in me trembles and quakes.
