The person, who wants to go to Moksha, should not concern himself with the auspicious (good) or the inauspicious (bad). He should keep them both as the things to be cleared out.

If attachment becomes fixed on a 'Gnani' [The enlightened one], then it becomes Real attachment (prashastaraag). It will get one__ work done. It will uproot attachment in all other places. Because the Gnani is Vitarag, attachment-free. Attachment for a Vitarag gives liberation from all the suffering.
Whatever the world does, is indeed all a natural discharge [disposal of karma]. You may chant God__ name, you may do penance; it is all nature__ discharge. If someone garlands you, how is he obliging you? And if someone picks your pocket, how is he hurting you? One is instrumental in the charging (creation of new karma), but in the discharge, it is only nature__ doing. This is the ultimate vision of the Vitraags, the Enlightened ones free of attachment.
There is no means other than vitrag-science (science that frees us from all attachments) that will give Final-Liberation [Moksha]. Other means [methods, instruments] will cause bondage; they only help to pass the time; [whereas] means to attain the Eternal Thing (experience of Pure Soul) can be attained from the __nani Purush_ (the enlightened one).
Awareness (of the Self) prevails in matters where one becomes attachment-free (vitrag), and where one has attachment-abhorrence, there his awareness will not prevail.
Soul (Atma) remains very far from where kashays (anger-pride-deceit-greed) are created, the Soul is quite far from there. Where there is absence of kashays, there lies the __eligion of Vitrags (the enlightened ones)_, and where kashays are present, lies the __elative religion_!
Chit__ tendencies can become pure [transparent] in front of God, but people don__ have this knowhow. The easiest solution to purify chit__ tendencies is to associate with a person who has the least amount of desires and the ultimate solution to make them pure is the inner visual contemplation (niddidhyasan) of the Vitarag (the enlightened ones who are free of all attachments).
When is one considered a vitarag (free of attachment)? It is when he has no fear of anything in this world.
What is the essence of Vitrag? Fearlessness!
