All relationships have ups and downs. Romantic fantasy often nurtures the belief that difficulties and down times are an indication of a lack of love rather than part of the process. In actuality, true love thrives of the difficulties. The foundation of such love is the assumption that we want to grow and expand, to become more fully ourselves. There is no change that does not bring with it a feeling of challenge and loss. When we experience true love it may feel as though our lives are in danger; we may feel threatened.

In love, there is no need to choose between self and other, because self is other.

The joy we feel to be together seems worthy of a fairy tale, from the moment our eyes met we felt the crush of love. This is not a passing infatuation, ours is love of truth.

Listening to their argument made me aware of how empty my life was, and I hated the life I was living all the more. No force but love can impel one to step willingly into the shadows so that the other may shine.

When your love has conquered your desire for possession and lust, this love then, turns into a compassionate energy, that crosses all bars of distance and time, and touches the one you love, in ways never understood but just felt.So whether, in acceptance or in rejection, keep feeding love more love. And always believe the one you love can never remain untouched by it.
