It is a wonderful thing to be liked by a stranger, but without respect it is pointless. It is like pulling the pedals off a rose and throwing the stem at the person you like. It__ creepy, but had good intentions that suddenly experienced some strange form of verticillium wilt, during the climate change of their mood.

All over the world there are students, teachers and parents that face serious challenges every day. They need help with real problems that have life-altering consequences__nd a group of intelligent professionals brought together to advise and educate stakeholders in need of help ought to be able to do so without behaving like a middle school drama queen.

The people who say poverty is no excuse for low performance are now using teacher accountability as an excuse for doing nothing about poverty.

To survive the daily bumps and bruises that come with living our lives, we all need a gentle and loving home both within and outside of ourselves.

Of course, we are drawn to teachers who unconsciously mirror our own psychology. None of us are clean. We all make mistakes. It's the repetition of those mistakes and the refusal to look at them that compound the suffering and assure their continuation.

The women I know with strong personalities, the ones who might have become generals or the heads of companies if they were men, become teachers. Teaching is a calling, too. And I've always thought that teachers in their way are holy--angles leading their flocks out of the darkness.

When what you value and dream about doesn__ match the life you are living, you have pain.

An ordinary teacher teaches how to accumulate information. A good teacher teaches how to assimilate information. A great teacher teaches how to stand up and turn every challenge into opportunities. An extraordinary teacher teaches how to be larger than life by following your own dreams, own goals and own instincts.

When teachers doubt your potential, show them how wrong they truly are.

Every great soul had a great mentor.

With great inspiration, every man can reach their highest potential.

I looked out again at the rising moon and I let the weight of my day, my week, lift away with the rushing wind as I was blown into the depths of myself.

As the silence returned, I sat back and felt the tension ease away; I hadn__ even known I was tense. A few moments passed and once again the cycling fan laced in with the clanging chains and mixed with the rumbling mower and the buzzing insects.

It was one of those striking moments in life where you find familiarity in the inexplicable.

And so we went. And so it went. And, slowly, I began to learn: speaking in the same language does not equal communication, especially when there is a cultural divide.

Somehow, we were passing the boundaries of language and finding clarity in shared thought, even if we were just talking about beer!

Storms don't come to teach us painful lessons, rather they were meant to wash us clean.
