Sometimes you__e left with only 1 choice: Take what__ yours and run for you life.

Birthing is never easy or without pain, be it a universe, a child, or a fresh start in life. Contraction precedes expansion. Darkness comes before dawn. Joy follows pain. This is the way of things.

Life is not for the faint hearted

In my dreams, I entered a world where success was based on ethics and proper dealings, not bribes and scams. My vision of sucess including marrying Sophia, having joyful children, unassuming friends, and warmhearted neighbors. I aspired for an environment where I would be valued for my good character, not the strength of my aggression. I wanted to leave West Beirut, the four square miles of a lesser world.

Love taught me to die with dignity that I might come forth anew in splendor. Born once of flesh, then again of fire, I was reborn a third time to the sound of my name humming haikus in heaven__ mouth.

A bridge of silver wings stretches from the dead ashes of an unforgiving nightmareto the jeweled vision of a life started anew.

The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new feet, a new backbone, new ears, and new eyes. Unless a particular man made New Year resolutions, he would make no resolutions. Unless a man starts afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing effective.

There is something beautiful about a blank canvas, the nothingness of the beginning that is so simple and breathtakingly pure. It__ the paint that changes its meaning and the hand that creates the story. Every piece begins the same, but in the end they are all uniquely different.

Sometimes life requires more of you than you have to give & demands you plunge into the reinvention of yourself if you truly wanna live.

Starting over can be the scariest thing in the entire world, whether it__ leaving a lover, a school, a team, a friend or anything else that feels like a core part of our identity but when your gut is telling you that something here isn__ right or feels unsafe, I really want you to listen and trust in that voice.

The death of a dream can in fact serve as the vehicle that endows it with new form, with reinvigorated substance, a fresh flow of ideas, and splendidly revitalized color. In short, the power of a certain kind of dream is such that death need not indicate finality at all but rather signify a metaphysical and metaphorical leap forward.

With each day that our huge ship was on the ocean, my sense of being further and further away from my loved ones, my home, and my environment grew stronger.
