I want to sleep. To find a safe place somewhere, and close my eyes, and rest, like an animal. That is what I am. An animal. Living from moment to moment, day to day, trying to make sense of the world in which I find myself.

In the horrors of war, please bring me peace.

I understand the logic behind removing toxic people from one__ life. But I also understand that many who are __oxic_ are acting out of a painful past_ and that to marginalize someone who__ not known much love is to validate that they don__ matter. To live in the world we desire _ a world of good people, safe places _ requires less fence-building and more heart-building. It requires valuing the worth of all people and loving the hurt as much as possible.

Besides, I like libraries. It makes me feel comfortable and secure to have walls of words, beautiful and wise, all around me. I always feel better when I can see that there is something to hold back the shadows.

I have been through the OSHA system twice and I can confirm that I did not have the right to a safe workplace or whistle-blower protection on either occasion.
