Children always forgive their mothers. That's the way God's designed them. He gives them two arms, two legs, and a heart that will cry 'mother' until the day it stops beating.

The boys he met at Annandale only understood one kind of woman. They needed to be coddled and cooed over as their own mothers had done their whole lives.

I was never afraid of the dark and I spent my youth walking through empty playgrounds at midnight, worried mothers telling girls to be careful and __he world is an ugly place and not everyone wants you well_. But I was not afraid and I wished for adrenaline to make my veins pulsate in that way that puts them more on the outside of my skin than inside.After the first night with you I never walked alone at night again because suddenly I had something to lose. Something to save.

Out of all the things I do, I think being a mom is the most important and satisfying.

A mother is a child's first looking glass into the world.

No matter what you do each day...or in life...doing things God's way is a matter of the heart.

The soul of a child is the loveliest flower that grows in the garden of God.
