Our loved ones are always with us whether they are of the flesh or of the spirit.

Just a simple prayer today, for those who are sick or going through darkness of any kind. Dear God, we ask that you place your healing hands on the shoulders of our friends and loved ones, who are suffering and relieve them of these hardships, in Jesus name. Amen.

Grieving the loss of a loved one__hether human or animal__s not only permissible, it is essential.

Had any poet adequately described the wretched ugliness of a loved one turned inside out with grief?

I saw her disappear from my life like a star that fades into obscurity behind a veil of clouds.

I figured we really shouldn__ grieve for those who leave us for God. They__e arrived at their destinations with lucky souls no longer burdened by our piddling human considerations. It may seem cruel when they die so young or so beautiful or so loved. Cry not for them, for the life not lived. Cry only for your own hurt in missing them. That__ the only true loss. And in those sad moments when you remember a touch, or catch them watching from the corner of your eye, understand they left you with a lesson. Everyone who touches your life teaches you something important you__e meant to learn. Somehow their visit here pushed your own soul along its path. Learning that lesson is the best way you can honor them.

When you loved someone and had to let them go, there will always be that small part of yourself that whispers, "What was it that you wanted and why didn't you fight for it?

Wealth earned may disappear, beauty will fade, honor may recede and fame diminish; all that shall remain, is a soul that is humane within that would leave a trail in the thoughts of your loved ones;And even if that fails,your God in heaven above will never fail you or fail to rejoice in a life you've managed to live worthy of His praise.

Depression, is like trying to find a light switch in pitch darkness. Defeating it takes much assistance and resource. First, it's letting in loved ones that are reaching out, when light will begin to shine.
