Spiritual Maturity is not how much of the bible you think you know, or how well you can recite prayers, but rather, it is how you act as a person, and use your belief in a God to better your life and the lives of people around you.

There are 300 billion stars in the Milky Way Galaxy, and there are over 100 billion galaxies in the universe. In all of this vastness there is, and will ever be, only one of you. Who you are is the rarest and most unique thing in the universe - value yourself accordingly.

It's not just about what I can SEE for our future, or humanity; it's about what I can DO for our future and humanity.

What will people of the future think of us? Will they say, as Roger Williams said of some of the Massachusetts Indians, that we were wolves with the minds of men? Will they think that we resigned our humanity? They will have that right.

By that time it seemed that the influence of these mythic, authoritatively anchored forces which can be denoted as religious, had been reduced to a tolerable level in spite of all the persisting inertia and hypocrisy.Even then, a new branch of mythic thought had already grown strong, one not religious in nature but no less perilous to mankind -- exaggerated nationalism. Half a century has shown that this new adversary is so strong that it places in question man's very survival. It is too early for the present-day historian to write about this problem, but it is to be hoped that one will survive who can undertake the task at a later date.

Humanity has the stars in its future, and that future is too important to be lost under the burden of juvenile folly and ignorant superstition.
