Why did I, like thousands of others, have to carry a cross I hadn't chosen, a cross which was not made for my shoulders and which didn't concern me? Who decided to come rummaging around in my obscure existence, invade my gray anonymity, my meager tranquility, and bowl me like a little ball in a great game of skittles? God? Well, in that case, if He exists, if He really exists, let Him hide His face. Let Him put His two hands on His head, and let Him bow down. It may be, as Peiper used to teach us, that many men are unworthy of Him, but now I know that He, too, is unworthy of most of us, and that if the creature is capable of producing horror, it's solely because his Creator has slipped him the recipe for it.

Science, in all its greatness, is still subject to human creativity. It starts the first moment a child tries to reach up and grab at the clouds. Soon, the child learns that his own hands cannot reach the sky, but his hands are not the limit of his potential. For the human brain observes, considers, understands, and adapts. Locked within the mind is infinite possibility.

We are not consumers. For most of humanity__ existence, we were makers, not consumers: we made our clothes, shelter, and education, we hunted and gathered our food.We are not addicts. __ propose that most addictions come from our surrendering our real powers, that is, our powers of creativity._ We are not passive couch potatoes either. __t is not the essence of humans to be passive. We are players. We are actors on many stages_. We are curious, we are yearning to wonder, we are longing to be amazed_ to be excited, to be enthusiastic, to be expressive. In short to be alive._ We are also not cogs in a machine. To be so would be to give up our personal freedoms so as to not upset The Machine, whatever that machine is. Creativity keeps us creating the life we wish to live and advancing humanity__ purpose as well.

Then the liars and swearers are fools, for there are liars and swearers enough to beat the honest men and hang up them.

A genius masters the art of observation, and unites with the source of imagination to create advancements in the cause for human evolution.

Humans need to be a little crazy, spontaneous, unusual, free-flowing, and creative.

Innovation is the heart of humanity.

There is on the earth no institution which Friendship has established; it is not taught by any religion; no scripture contains its maxims. It has no temple nor even a solitary column...However, out fates at least are social. Our courses do not diverge; but as the web of destiny is woven it is fulled, and we are cast more and more into the centre. We are inclined to lay the chief stress on likeness and not on difference, and in foreign bodies we admit that there are many degrees of warmth below blood heat, but none of cold above it.

You wanted to believe that getting older, growing up, would change everything, transform you into the amazing person you were meant to be. But what if it didn't? What if you had to stay you forever?

More than ever before in human history, we share a common destiny. We can master it only if we face it together. And that is why we have the United Nations.

The question that will decide our destiny is not whether we shall expand into space. It is: shall we be one species or a million? A million species will not exhaust the ecological niches that are awaiting the arrival of intelligence.

Somewhere out there, a higherform of sadism won the first round.Well, screw that. I'm not ready to bepwned.

I don__ know about you, but I believe that in our present time we are definitely shaking things up with human fate in this world.

The case for interconnectedness between conscious human lives is hard to deny.

Maybe we really are made of the same clay, maybe we really are condemned, blameless, to the same, identical mediocrity.

Devotion to God, righteousness and wisdom, will keep us safe on earth.

You can make a difference, wherever you are. It begins with a decision and defined purpose.

I believe in the ability to choose. I believe this life is made up of our choices and their consequences_ the good and the bad. I do not believe in letting anything up to fate. We are the makers of our own destinies, our own futures, our own paths. To blindly follow is an insult to the miracle of being human. To be human is to make choices; the moment you allow others to make decisions for you is the moment you do an injustice to not only mankind but to yourself.
