Whether a character is good or evil depends on your perspective.

There are two godheads: the world and my independent I. I am either happy or unhappy, that is all. It can be said: good or evil do not exist. A man who is happy must have no fear. Not even in the face of death. Only a man who lives not in time but in the present is happy.

Some people would say- you're only a drop, your word-breaking is only a drop, it wouldn't matter. But all the evil in the world's made up of little drops. It's silly talking about the unimportance of the little drops. The little drops and the ocean are the same thing.

Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. But as for me, my feet had almost slipped;_I had nearly lost my foothold. For I envied_the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

Those who won't accept evil never get anything good.

We're the gray area, angel. The greatest power of bureaucracies is to make the smart act stupid and the good to act evil.

But while I have never considered myself a very good person, neither can I bring myself to believe that I am spectacularly bad one. Perhaps it's simply impossible to think of oneself in such a way.

The best men are not consistent in good__hy should the worst men be consistent in evil?
