Great is the person who does good always, in sickness and in health, in riches and in poverty.

Help anyone who comes to you, as much as lies in your power, not because you are good person, nor because you want to be adored, but because you are a real human _ a real human of the civilized society.

Non-violent resistance to evil is a quintessential element of the character of a real human being. If someone does wrong to me, I may be physically capable of breaking his jaw with one blow of my fist, but such violent reciprocation does not define the strength of my character as a real human being. If I succeed in resisting my limbic urge to do harm in return, then only can I be hailed as human being of real character.

Be around people that make you want to be a better person, who make you feel good, make you laugh, and remind you what's important in life.

It's worse than treachery. He's using force. Is that worse than guile?
