Many people will never learn the lessons meant for them in this lifetime, nor become the person they were meant to be, simply because they are too busy being someone else.

Bird has to fly with their own wings; we have to think our own thoughts, find our own destiny.

An enlightened man had but one duty--to seek the way to himself, to reach inner certainty, to grope his way forward, no matter where it led. The realization shook me profoundly, it was the fruit of this experience. I had often speculated with images of the future, dreamed of roles that I might be assigned, perhaps as poet or prophet or painter, or something similar. All that was futile. I did not exist to write poems, to preach or to paint, neither I nor anyone else. All of that was incidental. Each man had only one genuine vocation--to find the way to himself. He might end up as poet or madman, as prophet or criminal--that was not his affair, ultimately it was of no concern. His task was to discover his own destiny--not an arbitrary one--and live it out wholly and resolutely within himself. Everything else was only a would-be existence, an attempt at evasion, aflight back to the ideals of the masses, conformity and fear of one's own inwardness.

Don't allow others to put a cap on you. Don't simply agree when someone draws your own finishing line. You're the captain of your destiny!!!

If I have found my journey to be a maddening tangle of wandering __abbit-trails,_ a labyrinth of incessantly circular passages to nowhere and back, and a plethora of assorted __ead-ends_ fraudulently disguised as paths of great promise, it can only be because I have mindlessly exchanged God__ compass for mine. Therefore, it would appear that another exchange might be in order.

Grace abounds for everyday life.

Saying something is __eant to be_ is a cop out. It__ a way for people to deal when they screw up or when life hands them a bowl of shit stew. The things that are meant to be are the things we can__ control, the things we don__ cause, the things that happen regardless of who or what we are. Like sunsets and snow-fall and natural disasters. I__e never believed hardship or suffering was meant to be. I__e never believed relationships were meant to be. We choose. In large part, we choose. We create, we make mistakes, we burn bridges, we build new ones.

Whatever makes you crazy is what you were created to crack. Whatever makes you sleepless is what you were born to succeed in. Don__ give up!
