Adapting our own perception, following rather than leading and building bridges are all keys to helping the child with autism learn.

I am doing what the Romans do in Rome; I am trying to communicate, but no one has bothered to tell me that these people cannot hear.This is where I go, when I go:Somewhere completely, unutterably orange.This is where I go, when I go:To the place where my body becomes a piano full of black keys only__he sharps and the flats, when everyone know that to play a song other people want to hear, you need some white keys.This is why I come back:To find those white keys.

Standing alone, walking my own path. Rearranging my thoughts. Pushing worries away. Climbing out of the fog, towards freedom of mind.

She became an illusion of herself. It was easier to cope with people that way

Sometimes I don't have enough energy to be social. I need time alone to recover from the last time I went out.

I could sum up my younger life in one word.-Misunderstanding. Most of my school life was spend in protection mode. Which made any 'benefit' I could get from socializing, useless.

I look out onto this world I'm in and hope that one day all people will be accepted and valued as they are.

I'll always be there for you.I promise to protect and nurture you.Hopefully one day soon, true Autism acceptance will besomething that just is.

The world has a fast-growing problematic disability, which forges bonds in families, causes people to communicate in direct and clear ways, cuts down meaningless social interaction, pushes people to the limit with learning about themselves, whilst making them work together to make a better world. It__ called Autism _ and I can__ see anything wrong with it, can you? Boy I__ glad I also have this disability!

Our visuals must represent the truth and decode the verbal jumble so these children can find the right direction.

I don't have to look at your eyes to listen that's whatmy ears are for.

Conversations sometimes are so hard to follow.People are so confusing with the wrong facialexpressions for their words.

Sometimes there are not the right words for my thoughts. Speech feels like it's not a natural way to communicate. This is when typing the words makes my thoughts come out easier.

You look beautiful even when you cry. I mean, not that you don__ look beautiful when you__e happy. Of course, you__e beautiful all the time. But out there in the snow, you were stunning.
