Oftentimes at Yale, I'll be sitting around studying or drinking or hanging out when I'll hear one of my friends talk about a project they're doing for a class or a rally they're organizing or a play they're putting on. And I'll just think, really, honestly, how remarkably privileged we are to hang around with such a talented group of people around here. I am constantly reminded of the immense passion and creativity of those with whom I get to spend time every day.

We are endowed with different kinds of gifts for different kinds of services.

The different kinds of work require different people to perform the task. You must fulfil your specific task.

You have great talents. Aim for God best for your life.

Any training is initially difficult, but with persistence practice, we can master the art.

Comparison is waste of energy. Every individual is unique with unique talents. Find your passion and live your best life.

You possess great strength, great spirit and great soul.

The nonessential employees, the type of workers whom remain at home when it snows, are the quickest to complain about how the talented persons of an organization behave.

Minor talents or failing talents ask much of those who associate with them. They suck, they cling, they sour, they devour, and they can kill their hosts. Disappointment is a deadly companion. We didn't yet know how many of us would end up in its grip, because we were all still striving, and some of us thought we were thriving.

As a bird with beautiful feathers is the target of hunters, so the gifted are targets of the envious.
