superiority

There are two things we must get rid of early in life: a feeling of personal superiority and an exaggerated reverence for the sexual act.

This is God's universe and he is the master gardener of all. If we were to eliminate all colors in his garden,then what would be a rainbow with only one color? Or a garden with only one kind of flower? Why would the Creator create a vast assortment of plants, ethnicities, and animals, if only one beast or seed is to dominate all of existence?

If only we were all better educated. If then, higher education would at last be a journey for skill and knowledge rather than for power and status.

Conscious minds can, at the most, comprehend that the whole idea of a 'God' is his superiority, his omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience; and therefore, at the least, desire him, someone far greater than themselves.

We are not sheep or cows. God didn__ create fences for us or boundaries to contain our nationalities. Man did. God didn__ draw up religious barriers to separate us from each other. Man did. And on top of that, no father would like to see his children fighting or killing each other. The Creator favors the man who spreads loves over the man who spreads hate. A religious title does not make anyone more superior over another. If a kind man stands by his conscience and exhibits truth in his words and actions, he will stand by God regardless of his faith. If mankind wants to evolve, we must learn from our past mistakes. If not, our technology will evolve without us.

In essence, you are neither inferior nor superior to anyone. True self-esteem and true humility arise out of that realization. In the eyes of the ego, self-esteem and humility are contradictory. In truth, they are one and the same.

When people want to win they will go to desperate extremes. However, anyone that has already won in life has come to the conclusion that there is no game. There is nothing but learning in this life and it is the only thing we take with us to the grave__nowledge. If you only understood that concept then your heart wouldn__ break so bad. Jealousy or revenge wouldn__ be your ambition. Stepping on others to raise yourself up wouldn__ be a goal. Competition would be left on the playing field, and your freedom from what other people think about you would light the pathway out of hell.

Glory of the world makes life meaningless. Glory of God fulfills it.

Every category has its snobs: music, books, movies. There are so many things a man is only pressured into liking or disliking.

Every new generation believes its own period to be absolutely superior intellectually - greater than all past cultures yet equal among its modern cultures.

If we glorify God (not self) in everything we do then everything on earth will glorify God.

Whatever we have in the glory of man is "away". Those are just not enough before we go "home" to the glory of God.

Big things in the glory of the world mean nothing. Small things in glory of God mean everything. Truly..., size doesn't matter in this world or in the world to come.

Sweet wine makes drunk, sour wine (insult) is "tetelestai". Life is not about what we have done and become, but how God to be fully glorified.

And when it's said that women must be subject to men, the phrase should be understood in the same sense as when we say we are subject to natural disasters, diseases, and all the other accidents of this life: it's not a case of being subjected in the sense of obeying, but rather of suffering an imposition, not a case of serving them fearfully, but rather of tolerating them in a spirit of Christian charity, since they have been given to us by God as a spiritual trial.
