I don't know what's worse by number in America, the vacant houses standing, or the homeless people falling into them.

I have heard it said that a happy childhood is a curse, because what follows can never measure up. All I can say is, those people must want too much; they can't accept that life is a series of struggles and that happiness can be found in overcoming them, drawing strength from the reserves laid down in the good years.

Conflict is a natural part of existence. Life is a struggle for survival for every organism at every level.

Life is a voyage across troubled waters where our days are often spent clinging to the top of the highest mast, scouting for a comforting glimpse of shore.

Face it; life's gonna chew you up and spit you out. If you're lucky you'll get stuck to the bottom of someone's shoe and be carried far, far away from it all.

Stop fighting yourself and accept where you are in life. Let this time in your life motivate you to let go of all of the things that are holding you back.

Never stop reminding yourself that God created you to be mentally and physically tougher than your struggles, challenges and obstacles.

We are all blessed, but the problem is that some of us count their blessings while others count their struggles, challenges and obstacles.

The struggles and challenges that come before winning any tangible prize are the things that make it very valuable.

Think about how many times in the past that you went through some challenges, struggles, and obstacles and still came out victorious? So why are you doubting your ability to triumph from your current trials and tribulations?

I go through challenges, obstacles, and struggles just like everyone else out there, but I handle them with the right mental attitude, and this is why I am always happy and positive with my life.

Some people think that they know our struggles, challenges and obstacles, but the truth is that they don't know half of them. This is why we should never allow others to define our lives for us.
