Truly, there is magic in fairy

Like all stories of creators who bring life from the dead, his story began with a struggling butcher, who chased a gray cat, caught it, took off its studded collar, and slit its throat.

The ending shouldn't determine the meaning of anything, a story or a life. Logically, I don't think it can--didn't Heidegger say something to that effect? That the meaning of all our moments cannot be contingent upon an end-point over which we have no control? That if we are happy right now, that means something, even if we die tomorrow? Narrative integrity is overrated. I don't need to know that the story of my life has a happy ending to enjoy it. A good thing, too, because I hear all the characters die in the end.

And then they bid their final goodbye which marked the end of their story. And beginning of two new stories.

No story is worth telling without the twists and turns. Make them count instead.

I listen to the rain talk to the leaves. She tells a story of love and leaving (isn__ that always the story? Isn__ that always the punchline?) She tells it softly like someone who has recently lost something that cannot be replaced. She closes her eyes and remembers. The leaves quietly wait. They love in silence. They understand in the dark. And I too begin to understand. We are all part pouring rain, part fallen leaves. We are all part of the world, and we all have a story.

Rob; you could have been someone I wanted to be with. But you__e not; you never spoke to Niall, not really. You joked and you danced, but how often did you really talk? You never even told him you loved him until it was already too late. What was he to you? A friend? A lover? Or was he just some set piece in Rob Sardan__ great story? Is that what everyone is to you? Can__ we have our own story?

You said this was only the beginning, I didn't realize that meant starting a new chapter without you as part of my story.
