As much longing for worldly happiness (of 5 senses) there is, that much less is the spiritual development.

Everything goes to nourish it, from first love to literature - literature, which, for cultivated people, is the imagination's gastric juice.

Everyone claims to be okay with freedom of religion, but the moment you mention God there is a strange tension that fills the air. If there was a 6th sense, that would be it.
