A high self-esteem can quickly deteriorate into egotism, arrogance, and an over-confidence that can backfire and turn people off.

Become your own best friend__mile and say __ love you_ to yourself occasionally.

Your inner critic is that voice in your head that second-guesses your choices, doubts your abilities, judges your appearance, criticizes you at every turn, and tries to convince you that you are never good enough.

With an objective eye, take an inventory of your successes and enlist the honest feedback of a trusted and respected mentor or peer. Chances are they see you in a better light than you see yourself!

When our feet talk to us, we listen.

You all have your own distinct personal backgrounds. Of course some of you come from rich families, some from poor families. But circumstances beyond your control like that shouldn__ determine who you are. You must all realize what you__e worth on your own.

As long as you look for someone else to validate who you are by seeking their approval, you are setting yourself up for disaster. You have to be whole and complete in yourself. No one can give you that. You have to know who you are - what others say is irrelevant.

Believe in yourself up here and it will make you stronger than you could ever imagine.

You don__ care what anyone thinks about you,_ he said.__hat__ crazy,_ she said. __ care what everyone thinks about me.___ can__ tell,_ he said. __ou just seem like yourself, no matter what__ happening around you. My grandmother would say you__e comfortable in your own skin.

Keep experimenting, your divine self!

I take my cues from the world around me and carefully paint a self-portrait that the world can__ help but accept. However, I would be much wiser to put down all such artistic notions and hold up the portrait of me painted by God simply because that is a picture at which the world can__ help but marvel.

The death of our self-worth begins at its appraisal, for such an action erroneously implies that our worth can be quantified.

I love widely and deeply, the Naive sense of Primitivism I manage to project in my Art. It always gives me a sense that it is not developed or derived from anything else, and it is unaffected by objective reasoning. Very similar to my nomadic life.

Why should I take my clothes off (...) when there are, already, so many other woman doing it for me?

Give yourself a break. When you are alone with your thoughts you should not be arguing.

I am what no one else is, and in the hands of God I can do what no one else does. And if I dare set such a truth in motion I will change my world.
