The self-centered man will always expect nothing but praise. He will hope and expect all incoming criticism to be mere self-projection from the critic because when you're self-centered, self-projection is all you can imagine one can do.

The rich eat life, the poor eat death; so what is the problem they ask?

Society nowadays tells people that their happiness is all that matters but happiness is never found if it costs someone else__ theirs. That is not what happiness is, nor would such a person deserve it, because happiness is forged by the setting aside of self and in doing for others to make them happy first and foremost, so if you have to hurt another human being to __ind your happiness,_ then you have no clue what the word actually means or what it__ willing to do, and in being so self-centered and entitled, it__ veritably tragic that the only care and concern you have is for yourself.

The eyes of love have 20/20 vision when focused on another, and become entirely blind when focused on ourselves.

If I see God as nothing more than a caricature of history or imagination I cannot do anything less than make myself my own __od_. And if that is the case, I suddenly find myself hounded by the stunning reality that God is not a caricature.

If I were to sit down and count them, how many of my prayers were tainted by the seduction of greed? None, simply because nothing of that sort is a prayer.
