He never thought he was right. The horror of all that had died under his will had become mundane to him. You see, the first horror is the horror itself. The real horror for him was accepting it as necessary.

Evil men flourish. The righteous suffer. The Lord never promises we won____nly that He__l sustain us when the tribulation comes.

The problem with holiness is that once we look into the face of it we are no longer capable of taking that which is odious and filthy and somehow pretending that it__ translucent and clean. In other words, we have to do one of the most revolting things possible; we have to face ourselves.

Have clean hands in whatever you do. Integrity is doing the right thing when people are watching you and still making it right when they keep their eyes off.

If you want to be an honorable man, then be what you pretend to be.

Too many disciples neglect their thorn-like qualities. For instance: Opting for singleness doesn't count if you can't attract a mate. Patience doesn't count if you are too cowardly to defend what is right. Forgiveness doesn't count if the offender never respected you enough to ask for it. Don't label your character flaws as noble sacrifices.pg 47

If you boil it down, just because someone else does the wrong thing we are not exempt from doing what__ right.

Never trust a person that tries to sell you by how righteous they are. I'm telling your right now, it's a scam.

Righteousness is of God, the righteous Ruler.

The Holy God performs righteous acts.

The holy God proved holy by his righteous acts.
