I want to grow. I want to be better. You Grow. We all grow. We're made to grow.You either evolve or you disappear.

A winner knows how much he still has to learn, even when he is considered an expert by others; a loser wants to be considered an expert by others before he has learned enough to know how little he knows.

When you reread a classic, you do not see more in the book than you did before; you see more in you than there was before.

Conflict never lies between two people. It always lies between rigid beliefs about the other person and the contradictions they show you. Conflict is always an inside job, but until you recognise this, it is easier to blame the other person.

I may not know what my heart truly holds, but who does? I think we're all mysteries, even to ourselves.

There is darkness inside all of us, though mine is more dangerous than most. Still, we all have it__hat part of our soul that is irreparably damaged by the very trials and tribulations of life. We are what we are because of it, or perhaps in spite of it. Some useit as a shield to hide behind, others as an excuse to do unconscionable things. But, truly, the darkness is simply a piece of the whole, neither good nor evil unless you make it so. Ittook a witch, a war, and a voodoo queen to teach me that.

People whose minds are not strengthened for endurance are by no means always unintelligent. They simply have never stopped to think that the use of the mind for the purpose of growth is a necessary part of a God-pleasing lifestyle.

And it makes you think. Even things that have been the same for years and years can change. Maybe I can change. I can bring my own wall down, and let people in.

Look for principles and virtues that will help you grow bigger from inside.

If we don't currently have what we so desire, then we must become a different person. Beliefs and thought patterns is the road to victory.

Sometimes_ Sometimes doubt is the opposite of faith, but sometimes doubt can be a pathway to faith. Sometimes weakness is the opposite of strength, but sometimes weakness can be the pathway to strength. Sometimes addiction is the opposite of sobriety, but sometimes addiction can be the pathway to sobriety. Sometimes infidelity is the opposite of fidelity, but sometimes infidelity can be a pathway to fidelity. Sometimes failure is the opposite of success, but sometimes failure can be the pathway to success.

The idea of practicing love is deeply appealing to me, because built right in is an acceptance of imperfection. There is an acknowledgment to myself that I am going to mess this up, an understanding that there is room to grow. Each of my failures just affirms the truth that we are all starting over and rising again.

Every failure is an opportunity for your personal growth.

It's important to undermine yourself and create a level of difficulty so the work doesn't come too easily. The more comfortable you get, the more money you earn, the more successful you are, the harder it is to create situations where you have to prove yourself and make yourself not just want it, but need it. The stakes should always feel high.

A bad day for your ego is a great day for your soul.

The elevator to success broke a long time ago, the problem is too many people are too lazy to take the stairs.

The more we can embrace failure, the more we will be able to open to it and the more confident and resilient we will become.

Getting stuck in the past and whining about who had hurt us hampers our personal growth and submerges us in the sea of self-compassion.
