There is only one label worth fighting for, nay, not fighting for, that is __uman_.

The human heart is first a human heart, then everything else - American, Christian, Asian, Jew, or whatever.

To say nothing is saying something. You must denounce things you are against or one might believe that you support things you really do not.

Men are from Earth, women are from Earth. Deal with it.

I have a little moral trouble with the term __ankind_, as it possesses an innate gender bias, which I cannot approve of, hence, I prefer the term __umanity_ over it, and the term __uman_ over __an_.

An outspoken atheist who most lovingly talks and listens to people of all religions without any bigotry or prejudice is a hundred times more religious than all the theoretical preachers of all religions combined.

The Self is the measure of everything.

A Muslim who prays five times a day and yet beats his wife at home, is no religious person. A Christian who goes to Church every Sunday, and yet never talks to his or her neighbor with a smile on the face, is no religious person. Humanism is the purest expression of your soul as a human. It has no God to be concerned with, except for the living Gods, that is the humans. It has no doctrine to abide by, except for the natural doctrine of love and benevolence. That's the religion we need my friend.

If you want to be drunk, become drunk with an idea. If you want pleasure, have pleasure from the pursuit of your passion. If you want to be indoctrinated, then be so by the natural law of humanism.

Acceptance is religion, sectarianism is blasphemy.

Conscience is not white, black or brown. Conscience is human. It is beyond race _ it is beyond religion _ it is beyond all sectarianism.

Non-violent resistance to evil is a quintessential element of the character of a real human being. If someone does wrong to me, I may be physically capable of breaking his jaw with one blow of my fist, but such violent reciprocation does not define the strength of my character as a real human being. If I succeed in resisting my limbic urge to do harm in return, then only can I be hailed as human being of real character.
