The great bad thing happens, and you become a ghost in your own life, and then you become flesh and blood and remake your life, but the ghosts of what happened don__ go away completely. They wait for you in low moments, and then they wail at you, shaking their chains in your face and trying to strangle you with them.

If you lack the humility to go back and tie up the loose ends in your past, then be prepared to forever be haunted by her ghosts, all of whom will come into your present and your future_ staining everything and everyone with their leftover emotional and mental garbage.
