The worst enemy of our humanity is our self-doubt.

When we allow negative messages to fester in our head, they take on a life of their own.

Trap yourself inside your own brain, switch off the light, block all the escape routes, then turn your back on everything you know to be reality and try and survive there. Try. Living. Nowhere.

Don__ let any situation intimidate you, defeat you, or conquer you. you are stronger and smarter than anything that challenges you.

Conformity begins the moment you ignore how you feel for acceptance.

Worry is like a roller coaster ride that you think will take you somewhere, but it never does.

1. We fear people because they can expose and humiliate us. 2. We fear people because they can reject, ridicule, or despise us. 3. We fear people because they can attack, oppress, or threaten us. These three reasons have one thing in common: they see people as __igger_ (that is, more powerful and significant) than God, and, out of the fear that creates in us, we give other people the power and right to tell us what to feel, think, and do.

Like a Columbus of the heart, mind and soul I have hurled myself off the shores of my own fears and limiting beliefs to venture far out into the uncharted territories of my inner truth, in search of what it means to be genuine and at peace with who I really am. I have abandoned the masquerade of living up to the expectations of others and explored the new horizons of what it means to be truly and completely me, in all my amazing imperfection and most splendid insecurity.

I realized that I was okay with myself. I was quirky and withdrawn and loud, but I liked that. I smiled at strangers without thinking they were going to attack me and drag me into their cars. I went to doctors_ offices and touched magazines that had been touched by sick people.

Don__ set your own goals by what other people make important.

I am still bullied occasionally. However, none of my current bullies really exist. They__e all in my head. Be your own best friend instead of your worst enemy.

It is better to stay single and wait for the one that makes sense then to marry someone that makes absolutely no sense. The moment you settle is when the one person that makes all the sense in the world shows up and Satan sits back and enjoys your spiritual meltdown.

Self-assurance reassures others and reassures yourself.

Greatness means setting out to make some difference somewhere to someone in someplace.

Doubt has become the veritable wellspring of my creative process and my philosophic explorations. It has equipped me with the temerity and wherewithal to question certain truths deemed __undamental_ by my betters. Defiance has made me stubborn__ossibly even arrogant__nough to shrug off rejection and all fears thereof, no matter how lacerating to the self-esteem these could be. It has given me the will to seek only to satisfy myself.

Focus on how far you have come in liferather than looking at the accomplishments of others.

I've wasted a lot of time in my life. I've thought too much about what people will say or what they're gonna think. And sometimes it's over silly things like going to the grocery store or going to the post office. But there have been times when I really stopped myself from doing something special. All because I was scared someone might look at me and decide I wasn't good enough. But you don't have to bother with that nonsense. I wasted all that time so you don't have to.

Choose faith to live life rather than fear.
