Dr. Richard Selzer is a surgeon and a favorite author of mine. He writes the most beautiful and compassionate descriptions of his patients and the human dramas they confront. In his book Letters to a Young Doctor, he said that most young people seem to be protected for a time by an imaginary membrane that shields them from horror. They walk in it every day but are hardly aware of its presence. As the immune system protects the human body from the unseen threat of harmful bacteria, so this mythical membrane guards them from life-threatening situations. Not every young person has this protection, of course, because children do die of cancer, congenital heart problems, and other disorders. But most of them are shielded__nd don__ realize it. Then, as years roll by, one day it happens. Without warning, the membrane tears, and horror seeps into a person__ life or into the life of a loved one. It is at this moment that an unexpected theological crisis presents itself.

Faith has won it! Fear has lost it! When you get full of faith, the devil gets filled with fear! Keep your faith in light every day and you will keep the devil in fright always!

Do you know how does it feel failing every day? No,You get used to it.

I wake up.Immediately I have to figure out who I am. It__ not just the body__pening my eyes and discovering whether the skin on my arm is light or dark, whether my hair is long or short, whether I__ fat or thin, boy or girl, scarred or smooth. The body is the easiest thing to adjust to, if you__e used to waking up in a new one each morning. It__ the life, the context of the body, that can be hard to grasp.Every day I am someone else. I am myself__ know I am myself__ut I am also someone else.It has always been like this.

Every single day should be crazy fun.

If making a difference in someone else__ life makes me sleep every night, then I will do it everyday.

This day is the most recent set of events to define you. Every day changes your life. Every last one.

If you had to spend every second, of every day, of every year of your life with someone, would you do whatever it took to love that person? Would you be a best friend, a teacher, coach and mentor? Every day.Every day, someone lived in the midst of destruction and chaos. Every day, someone__ flower boxes filled with gunpowder__ haze, a child__ laughter turned to tears. There had been a day when someone watered those flowers in the evening__ peaceful quiet and the children caught fireflies in mason jars. And that day will come again, when the crickets and the bullets no longer have to compete for the night__ stage. But for now, all anyone could do was fight on the crickets_ behalf.

I've found that busting your ass on a daily basis to make your art good, clear, and meaningful creates the most luck.
