My dear boy, looking like a thing has little to do with being a thing. Be the thing first, and you will grow to resemble it.

Discouragement is the cancer of great things.

Don't ever shelter the feeling of discouragement in your mind, because it only comes to distract one from one's true abilities in life.

On the road to nowhere there are many people who lack the vision to get you anywhere.

A person must nonetheless resist personal discouragement, sadness, dejection, and despondency. I must reach an accord with pain, suffering, and anguish, or forevermore be tortured by reality while constantly seeking to escape from the inescapable agony of being.

Disappointment is really just a term for our refusal to look on the bright side.

Not every dream grows on every land, so you got to watch out! __ugar cane_ dreams should find the environment where there is flooding of great ideas from great people. It will die off if it is planted at the place where the drought of discouragement is a well cherished culture!

If you fear doing something, don__ discourage others who are doing it.

When surrounded by the ashes of all that I once cherished, despite my best efforts I can find no room to be thankful. But standing there amidst endless ash I must remember that although the ashes surround me, God surrounds the ashes. And once that realization settles upon me, I am what I thought I could never be ... I am thankful for ashes.

Don't laugh. A girl can dream.

Never let someone who draws a line and say you can't cross it intimidate you. Don't be discouraged when someone says you can't do it. You might have been the only one sent to do it.

Don't be discouraged by people who tease you out of your dreams. What you have in your heart is bigger than what they have on their lips!

When the weaver bird flies, nobody talks; when the busy bee flies, no one will make comments... But when a human being begins to fly, you begin to hear talks in the town such as "abomination!... where did he get the wings from?". Never mind! Your dreams are your wings, so decide to fly!

Dream murderers are people who refuse to learn and optimize their own dreams. They discourage others from going ahead to make it happen. Why? Because they don't want go higher and they want everyone to be like them!

The closer you are to the end of your temporal trials, the louder the voice of critics. Close your ears to the heavy downpours of their discouragements. God whispers; __ am with you_!

Negative people can only infest you with discouragements when they find you around... Just get lost and get saved!
