I couldn__ help but feel as if everyone had lied about everything. We all had secrets. We all had a dark side to our innocent cover. I wondered what we would be like, if we had been completely honest with each other in the first place. Maybe more people would be alive, but then again, more people could be dead.

He wanted to write someone and demand a refund on his dark side which clearly ought to have irresistible magical power but had turned out to be defective.

I__e grown quite weary of the spunky heroines, brave rape victims, soul-searching fashionistas that stock so many books. I particularly mourn the lack of female villains _ good, potent female villains. Not ill-tempered women who scheme about landing good men and better shoes (as if we had nothing more interesting to war over), not chilly WASP mothers (emotionally distant isn__ necessarily evil), not soapy vixens (merely bitchy doesn__ qualify either). I__ talking violent, wicked women. Scary women. Don__ tell me you don__ know some. The point is, women have spent so many years girl-powering ourselves _ to the point of almost parodic encouragement _ we__e left no room to acknowledge our dark side. Dark sides are important. They should be nurtured like nasty black orchids.

Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.

When I buy a new book, I always read the last page first, that way in case I die before I finish, I know how it ends. That, my friend, is a dark side.

I don't want to swim on the surface anymore and I never want to pretend again that I know you completely. Let me dive deep inside you, take me in and allow me to look into your secrets, make me feel every breath I take and crave for it more. Carry me to your darker side where you are afraid to allow anyone. Pull me deep inside and make me one of your secrets.

It's like having explosives on board 24/7, the way I feel. I can't believe when I touch things they don't blow to bits. I can't believe I was so way off.I thought, I don't know, I thought wrong.

You couldn't changed history. But you could get it right to start with. Do something differently the FIRST time around.This whole business with seeking Slytherin's secrets... seemed an awful lot like the sort of thing where, years later, you would look back and say, 'And THAT was where it all started to go wrong.'And he would wish desperately for the ability to fall back through time and make a different choice. I__ interested in people__ darker side, the ones that aren__ easy and well balanced. The cracks.

Equality is a myth to protect the weak. some of us are strong in the Force, others are not. Only a fool believes otherwise.

What's needed on Earth is love of the dark side of ourselves

And the ultimate question remains, To live, is it a blessing or the punishment itself ?

I don't want to rule the universe. I just think it could be more sensibly organised.
