When things don't go the way you want them to, sometimes instead of feeling disappointment or heartache, you just become numb.

Not everyone will appreciate the beauty of their surroundings like you do. Spend time with those that do.

Moving on will show you a lot about who you are, what you truly want, & what you have no desire to waste your time on.

People that are jealous and envious of you are too freaking lazy to step up their own game.

When I was younger, I use to laugh at my mom when she was silly. Now that I'm older, I find myself just as silly as her. Thanks mom, for teaching us that even as adults, it's OK to be fun and enjoy life laughing. I now get to teach my nephews and stepdaughter the same thing.

I've been in the water so much these past few days, I swear I'm growing fins & scales.

We live and breathe words...but writing them down makes you escape into new worlds. Only those who write would understand.

Challenges come our way when we least expect them; our insecurities, desires, balance, & conscience are tested in the process.

If a man tells you he's an asshole & that you deserve better, believe him...it's a warning. It's best you listen before he proves it to you.

The red flags are usually there, you just have to keep your eyes open wider than your heart.

Tonight was definitely an eye opener, but a reminder of how I use to be & why. Self discovery happens at such random times.

Its not easy taking your own advice, accepting what you don't like hearing, & seeing the grey amongst the black & white.

Did my good deed for the day. Still not close to heaven, but it's something.

If I don't make it to heaven, at least I know what hell feels like with this heat!
