I want you. I want you inside and out. The parts you cover with laughter. The depth you shrug off with indifference. I want you. I want you to take me to the place you've hidden your heart. I want to walk by your side on this journey. You're worth it. We're worth it. Because... I want you.

Your ability to make me feel like I was less than I was, took awhile to recover from. But after ripping my own self worth to shreds for so long, I realized that I wasn't less just because I was more than your inexperienced hands could handle.

If everyone only gave a fraction of the compassion their hearts are capable of giving... how much suffering could we alleviate in this world?

I am often asked what made me the way I am. And my answer is always this: I've always been me. It just took awhile to find me under all the rubble.

She's fire...but she will not burn you. She knows all too well how it feels to live with ashes.

How is it that hearts hold on to memories with the strength of hope and possibilities.

If you only knew how many sentences I have withheld in hopes that I will be allowed to speak them into your heart one day.

Lost is not a place. It's a soul in paralysis... waiting to feel moved.

Just because she doesn't talk about it, doesn't mean she isn't feeling it. She hurts, but she won't wear it on her sleeve. She will never let an illness, a diagnosis, or a prediction, define her. She doesn't want sympathy, because that type of attention is not her goal. She'd rather you see the woman who smiles in the face of adversity, than be the one who begs you to see her frown.

How long will you fake at living life? What will it take for you to see the beauty you've neglected while wearing the dirty lies expected of you?

Experience taught me that when pride wins... we all lose.

To the person in my future...I hope you're ready, because I'm going to love you... fiercely. You'll never have to suffer for my past heartache. It's taught me that I need love more than the absence of it. I'm not perfect, nor is my track record. I've experienced a lot of takers in my life - but I'll love you with every part of me that remains.
