I am in favor of hanging the Ten Commandments in every schoolroom in the country so young people can know the difference between right and wrong. They don__ know the difference and we__e seeing the evidence of that all around us every day.

Millions of young people are shifting from one side to the other. They are like unguided missiles filled with energy and ambition and yet somehow not __itting in._ Peer pressure leads them astray . . . [and] in thousands of churches they are led astray theologically.

In America we have an idolatry called the __dulation of youth._ Apparently distressed by their inability to communicate with the younger generation, many adults simply imitate it.

I come in contact with mixed-up people, young men and women caught in the anguish of their own unpreparedness, intellectuals who have been seduced by false science, and rich men held in the grip of insecurity. They have no commitment to any goal. They lack an anchorage for their real self. And I long to take every one of them by the hand and lead them into the presence of the One who said, __ome unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest_ [Matthew 11:28 KJV].

[Young people,] dress as attractively as you can. You are an aristocrat, a child of God.

Third, it is helpful to seek advice from those who are spiritually mature and solid in their faith. A godly counselor or pastor can assist you in avoiding the common mistakes that confuse many young people.

Nowadays the standards had plummeted so far that I failed even at being a failure. I silently packed up. Nothing else was left. They had even robbed me of self-pity

By exchanging quality time for 'turn-up' times, what many of today's wayward youngsters have become - men and women of the village have failed them.

Old people have wisdom but not energy; young people have energy but not wisdom; energy and wisdom must be in the same body to create a much better civilisation! To do this, we will either give energy to the old or we will give wisdom to the young and for now the latter seems a more plausible action!

Remind Youth: It is not necessary to look for confidence. It is there _ potentially yours and never hidden; awaiting a commanding voice of faith, hope and affirmation. Speak repetitiously with authority and conviction the self-assurance which only seems lacking, but you simply lost touch with.

A handful of lion-hearts can wake the whole world up.

Young people: They care. They know that this is the world that they're going to grow up in, that they're going to spend the rest of their lives in. But, I think it's more idealistic than that. They actually believe that humanity, human species, has no right to destroy and despoil regardless.

Thank you for your wisdom, grandmother.""Pah." The old woman waves her hand to the side, as if brushing away some crumbs. "The young do not listen to the old." She smiles. "And perhaps they shouldn't. It is not our world to live in for long, and regardless, you will do with it as you choose when we are gone.

Along with individual responsibility goes some societal responsibility to enable young people and their parents to do what they need to do. Otherwise, what is a society?

The secret message communicated to most young people today by the society around them is that they are not needed, that the society will run itself quite nicely until they - at some distant point in the future - will take over the reigns. Yet the fact is that the society is not running itself nicely... because the rest of us need all the energy, brains, imagination and talent that young people can bring to bear down on our difficulties. For society to attempt to solve its desperate problems without the full participation of even very young people is imbecile.

These young people are going to change the world.

Young people don't always do what they're told, but if they can pull it off and do something wonderful, sometimes they escape punishment.

Blessed are you when you enjoyed the company of elderly people. They are always ready to share their rich experience and wisdom with young people.
