I__ wish it were easier to not allow other people__ pasts to create my own present.

- I believe in unlimited discovery and achievement.- I believe that dreams can become reality.- I believe in true love.- I believe in kindness and intelligence.- I trust life, regardless.

My father taught me that you can you read a hundred books on wisdom and write a hundred books on wisdom, but unless you apply what you learned then its only words on a page. Life is not lived with intentions, but action.

A vision of the little house in Soho flickered across his mind__ eye, his mother at a desk, writing in her journal, with hazy sunlight streaming through the morning windows. The woman inhabited a world he had once thought his own _ a world of publishers and reliable suppliers. A London that was confident and competent amid its grey, puddle-strewn streets.

Anything you don__ want to deal with can always be written off as being __n the past_ and ignored, but in doing so, you sweep it under a rug where it doesn't go away with time _ it becomes time itself, and takes on the illusion of life as we think we know it.

The past is set down in a thousand thousand indelible scrolls. But the future is a blank parchment forever in wait of a present.

The present is an eternal attempt to separate the past from the future.

Holding on to negative feelings and past circumstances is like placing a lock on your soul.

Life was about loss. One minute standing on the promise of your dreams, then free-falling backward into nothingness. Is this what it meant to grow old? To gradually be stripped of all you cared about. And then what? Were you supposed to spend the rest of your life, dreaming about the past while you waited to die? Or did you start a new life, set the cycle in motion once again. Take the chance of losing that, too. And if you did, what happened to the old life? Did it die away from lack of attention?

Living in the past is a place that has no future.

Wouldn't the world be a much better place if we didn't make it past the age of maybe 10? Think back to when we were younger, before we were so easily influenced by adults. We rebelled against everything that we now believe is impossible. Super Heroes still existed and we didn't hold grudges because "sorry" was okay and as long as you still wanted to share your toys with me, nothing more needed to be said. Be 10 years old today everyone.

A deceitful man will go as far as to trample all over a woman__ reputation and spirit, in order to prove to his ex-love that he was faithful. The irony, is he is still in love with his ex and the new woman in his life doesn__ even realize it.

Little is the imagination of the person who believes that the future of another may be determined by his/her past. We are so much more than our minds and our memories! We are in fact transcendent souls. If you determine what is ahead by what you can see when you look back, then you will in fact never behold what actually stands in front of you.

Sometimes in life, you may take a step, only to realize the steps you missed. Sometimes in life, you may delay a step taking, only to see a step you shouldn__ have miss. Notwithstanding the results of your steps, you still ought to take steps. Life keeps moving and you can__ afford to be static! Keep on moving on!

In history, truth should be held sacred, at whatever cost . . . especially against the narrow and futile patriotism, which, instead of pressing forward in pursuit of truth, takes pride in walking backwards to cover the slightest nakedness of our forefathers.

When you live in the present, the past is forgotten & the future takes care of itself.

To get over the past, you first have to accept that the past is over. No matter how many times you revisit it, analyze it, regret it, or sweat it_it__ over. It can hurt you no more.

No matter how much you stress or obsess about the past or future, you can't change either one. In the present is where your power lies.
