Imagined happiness is still happiness.

The secret to happiness is elusive because it is a paradoxical truth. To gain happiness, you must first cease pursuing it. Things perceived to provide happiness are like shiny, pretty bubbles that lure us this way and that way, chasing after their glossy buoyancy. But once they are handled, they __op___mpty__anishing along with the hope that happiness could ever be captured. Happiness cannot be caught or won or purchased or even handled. Happiness simply forms like a rainbow in the kindest and most grateful hearts.

I can and will improve the world.I will smile, show kindness, and be grateful.I refuse to be unhappy.

Be happy. Be happy for no reason at all. Believe it or not, you have the ability and free agency to make that choice.

Dreams become reality once the dreamer goes beyond imagining and acts them out.

Reality is a background so painted over by our own perceptions that every eye sees the world differently.

Theories look great on paper until reality scribbles all over the page.

Mad fearlessness is not courage. The only requirement for courage is a good heart.

The most powerful and courageous heroes I know are those who bite their tongues when justification, validation, temptation, or vengeance would have them strike with truthful, hurtful words.

It is an incapacitating emotion one feels upon hearing the whispered words "I still love you" after deeply hurting that soul. Forgiveness isn't weakness.It is power.

Never give up.This applies to more than goals and dreams, it is a maxim for basic daily struggles. It shapes one's life, including the will to continue to live. It supports love and committed relationships; it bolsters hope, faith, and charity; it is power in every area of existence. Never give up on anything or anyone of any worth, especially yourself.

It is the image of physical brawn, sheer force, and commanding volume we so often associate with might. But I have found the might of an army exists in the faith of a child and in quiet, earnest prayers as well as in the heart of one who loves.

My brain tends to take the scenic route. Things come to the forefront of my mind sooner or later, it just takes time.
