Here, it was the other person__ duty [social obligation] to welcome you, but you shouldn__ fall short. So you should immediately check your balance-sheet (of karma) to find out where you sustained a loss!

Leaders don't climb hills of success with shoes of pride. They are slippery enough to bring a person down to the valley.

Pride, anger and hatred are fruits from the same garden that poison the world when ripe. A leader cultivates no such fruits.

In one way or another, every mission that I have ever set out on to rescue myself is yet another mission that I end up needing to be rescued from. Hence, there is God.

Maybe what I need to be rescued from is the feeling that I don__ need to be rescued, for without a doubt this is the most difficult rescue of all.

Being different is a revolving door in your life where secure people enter and insecure exit.

Sometimes, in rare occasions, when I see a man respects a woman, treats her like another valuable human being, uses a proper language when talking to her and does not consider her only as a sex-toy. I feel proud of being a man. I feel grateful of belonging to a gender category as he is. However, the feeling is soon gone after seeing how men in general talk about women, disrespect them and insult them any way they can.

Nothing humbles a beautiful woman better than not being wanted by a man whose girlfriend or wife is ugly (or not as beautiful as she is).

Passing their toilet training is the very last thing that some adults did that has made their parents proud of them.

Young people today are deeply passionate and crave authentic life based on truth. They're hungry to make a difference. They're willing to take a stand for whatever they believe, even to die for a cause. When they sell out to Jesus, they'll pursue a standard of righteousness that is greater than anything you and I ever saw growing up. Don't water it down. Don't lower the standard. And don't just settle for raising it-raise it higher. Believe in your children. Talk with them. Speak well of them. Encourage them. Pray for them. Celebrate the victories with them. Affirm their growth. We can raise a generation that, although they'll make mistakes, will sell out completely when Jesus grips them. They'll give Him everything. They'll make you proud by being even weirder than you are.

If you find yourself wondering if you can go on, remember how much you__e accomplished. Then raise your head high and be proud. YOU GOT THIS!

The key to a happy life is to have accomplishments to be proud of and purpose to look forward to, and at the moment I had both. How wonderful it was to be me.

From all the chaos, confusion, disorder, turmoil and pandemonium around her where things are in total disarray a woman is capable of not only restoring order but also bringing peace as well as harmony. She is brave, competent, accomplished, gifted, capable and blessed. Woman, be proud of yourself.

To become a better you, never let the attitude of pride linger around your ambitions.

Sometimes I feel proud of myself, not because of any success I__e achieved, but because I__ aware of all the difficulties that I have suffered or went through.I__ an eyewitness at all the fear, weakness, frustration, failure, depression, refraction and bad luck moments that I__e been through alone and which affected significantly but never was able to beat me for so long.This is why I__ proud, because I__ here now stronger that yesterday, I'm still able to stand and continue on my way, still following up my dreams, still trying my best to build better future for me and my family and I will never ever give up!
