If philosophy gets you lost in the labyrinth of symbols that distance us from reality, then it is part of the problem; if it motivates positive action that can create a better world, philosophy is usually a gift.

In reality, commissions rarely solve complicated problems. Therefore, the following question arises: what is worse _ to establish a commission knowing it cannot solve a complicated problem, or to believe that the commission will truly solve such a problem?

Disturbing encounters in life spur reflective thinking that jars a person from his or her exhausted ideologies and way of living. A person who lives passionately will develop a philosophic outlook because the road of excess leads to knowledge. Enthusiasm will frequently make a person look foolish, and result in intermittent periods of despondency and self-questioning, yet only exuberance and a degree of risk-taking leads us to wisdom.

Living deeply requires more than a static vivisection of a person__ history and a cold survey of the world. Living a meaningful life entails immersion in the continuous flow of life through passionate thinking, observation, and directed action.

The power of the undefeatable human spirit, came alive in me, and stirred the embers of my long smoldering anger into a rage of fire. I screamed a battle cry inside myself, and felt the same vigor ignite within me that inspired men for thousands of years to fight when the odds were against them. I became passionate, as I adopted a plan to fight back and win.

A task is only difficulty, when we not find the best strategy to get it done.

Life is a game of chance. You ought to play the game.

The brevity of life is grace to walk on your own path.

A person must never live a lie. We free ourselves to live a full life by discovering the courage to face our illusions and live a true life.

A person who finds grace never lacks the courage to endure, remain resolute in principles and action in the face of an easy collapse into anger, insanity, and self-destruction when living in an increasing chaotic world filled with armed conflict, terrorism, and cultural discord.

Always tell yourself that you are as good as anyone that breathes; that you have two hands and a brain, and a little time in which to use them. But they are enough, and no one has any more. And if you train and force them to serve you well, you can reach any height to which you aspire. But to waste any of them is to betray yourself.

Disappointment is a blessing. If you were never disappointed, you'd never know what was important to you.

This world owes us nothing. Existence is not indebted to us. Humanity lives under this misconception that we deserve life__ blessings, that we deserve happiness. But in truth, life owes us nothing

Sometimes you wish the world would be a better place and sometimes you wish the world was a better place. Only the great understanding of the difference of the time between the past and present moment will make it a better place.

The world was made in order to result in a beautiful book.
