Healing, it turns out, is a journey. It doesn__ happen all at once.

It__ time to stop dreaming about who you want your son to be and help him become the healthy, happy, and successful man he__ supposed to be.

There__ a wound most troubled boys share, which, at its core, comes from the feeling that they don__ have their father__ unconditional love.

Healthy boys grow into healthy men.

Despite what you might believe right now, your son__ future is bright. You only need the right tools to help him get there.

According to most studies on the subject, boys who grow up without fathers grow up at a disadvantage.

Where the parents are not 'good enough' the rest of the programme for life may be distorted and later stages in the archetypal sequence may fail to be realized. Thus, the boy whose father was inadequate or absent may fail to actualize his masculine potential sufficiently to establish the social or vocational role his talents equip him for, or he may be unable to sustain a relationship with a member of the opposite sex long enough for him to become an adequate husband or father himself.

Flora would have liked to ask her parents why the words __o father_ have such a different meaning from the words __o mother_.

Maybe children just want whatever it is they don't get. And then they grow up and give their children what they wanted, be it silence or information, affection or independence--so that child, in turn, craves something else. With every generation the pendulum swings from opposite to opposite, stillness and peace so elusive.

Oh, brothers and sisters, families can be forever! Do not let the lures [or the irritants] of the moment draw you away from them! Divinity, eternity, and family--they go together, hand in hand, and so must we!

Children are the most fearless souls on earth.

Fathers are ironic, they want democracy in their country but dictatorship in their home.

The worst thing in life is having parents that always stand against you and never with you. They discourage you, instill fear in you, hold you back, push you down and never encourage you to fly forward. When I have kids, they'll already be born with propellers with added wings. Even if one tells me they want to go learn how to ride lions in Africa, if their heart is driving that desire, I'd say "DO IT".If we throw blankets over our children's dreams, we darken their world and extinguish their desire to live. I'd rather my kid die with a wild fire in his/her heart than with a malfunctioning or drained out fuse. Always allow your kids to keep humming with dreams and ideas that fuel their passions. Never tell them something is impossible. If you have a really strong determined kid, they'll go out there killing themselves trying to do the unachievable just to prove you wrong. And if you have a weak kid, they'll give up on life and settle for bagging Cokes and potato chips at your local grocery store.

It__ about Nietzsche__ theory of universal debt. Your parents make it possible for you to believe a far better myth than Santa. They let you think that you, as a kid, don__ owe the world a thing. The world can give you, even if just for a few minutes, utter joy without requiring anything from you. It__ not about consumerism. As far as you know, no one buys you these presents. They come out of nothingness, with fantasies of elves attached. You aren__ required to be grateful to your parents or anything like that. They can give to you and nothing is required in return. When you get old enough, when you have kids, you get to enact this myth for them. It has nothing to do with any fat man in a red suit, no matter what we tell ourselves. It__ about owing nothing, and then realizing that you have to do this job of perpetuating this_ this fantasy world, whether you like it or not.
