You may turn every house in your neighborhood into a charity center, you may fill the land with soup-kitchens, but the misery of humans will still continue to exist until the character of humanity changes.

Forget race, forget gender, forget religion, and become a human my friend. Become a human above everything else, and all great things shall follow.

If you want to teach real religion to the kids, throw away the Bible, the Vedas, the Quran and all the scriptures, and teach them the religion of love.

Love has no gender - compassion has no religion - character has no race.

Doctrines, no matter which path of human endeavor they come from, must serve the humans, not the humans serving the doctrines. __ove thy neighbor_ - is a great doctrine, but more importantly, it is an unparalleled piece of magnificent human teaching _ as such, whoever practices it, becomes a better human, a real human. On the other hand, there is another doctrine that says __od may purify the believers and destroy the disbelievers_ _ now would you, as a real conscientious human being, consider this one as a great beneficial doctrine or teaching for humanity? Far from being great, doctrines like this are the ones that compel the human society to forget its innate humanism.

Come my friend. Come and walk with me in the path ahead that awaits you with open arms _ the path of humanism _ the path where every pedestrian is simply a human, not a Christian, Jew, Hindu, Muslim, Atheist, Mexican, American, Canadian, British, Australian, Russian, Asian, African, European or anything else.

Humanism is not a pompous philosophy to be talked and debated about by a handful of intellectuals - it is the purest form of moral compass, which defines the civilized heart of thinking humanity.

Rise to become human again, my friend. Become the human, that talks humans, acts humans and lives human.

Modern society is modern because of its mental cocktail of reasoning and compassion. Turn the compassion network in the brain off, and it will be a society of heartless robots. On the other hand, turn the reasoning network off, and it will be a society of dumb sentimental apes.

It is your existential responsibility to raise your child as a human being above everything else _ catholic, muslim, jew, asian, caucasian or whatever.

I do not serve and never will serve the human body. I serve only the human soul - the soul that is the cause of all feats of excellence in this world _ the soul that is the gateway to a real kingdom of peace.

Neuroscience makes us connect with each other at an emotional level. It makes us make friends. It makes us dream more positively. It makes us more optimistic about ourselves and the world even in our darkest days. It makes us achieve our goal endowed with strength even through immense miseries. It allows us to attain the subjective reality of our fellow humans. Imbued with the understanding of the mind we can walk in the shoes of other people.

We don't have the luxury to say that, there is no hope for reform in Islam, because by saying this, we would be disavowing the entire peace-loving Muslim population of the world. We cannot leave our Muslim sisters and brothers behind to be oppressed by their own priestly tyrants, while the rest of the world keeps progressing with an open mind. The entire civilized society of the world, must put their heart and soul to get Islam liberated from the shackles of fundamentalism. Conscience must triumph over orthodox barbarianism, otherwise there would be no hope for the progress and wellbeing of humanity as a truly wise species.

The salvation of the species, lies in knowing the Self _ it lies in contributing to the wellbeing of the Selves of others.

We gain from the new science of mind not only insights into ourselves - how we perceive, learn, remember, feel, believe and act - but also a new perspective of ourselves and our fellow human beings in the context of biological evolution.

Be pure, live a conscientious life, defend your dignity and be loving to others.

Great is the person who does good always, in sickness and in health, in riches and in poverty.

Love opens the most impossible gates in the world. Feel, therefore, my would-be patriots. Do you feel? Do you feel that millions of your sisters and brothers are starving today and have been in such condition for ages? Do you feel my dear soldiers? Do you feel that the light of truth has become much scarier to the society than the darkness of ignorance? Does this not make you restless? Does this not make you sleepless? Has it not gone into your blood yet, coursing through your veins, becoming resonant with your heart-beat? Are you not yet seized with the one idea of lifting the misery from the society? Have you not been yet immersed in this idea, so much so that, you have forgotten your name, your fame, your property and even your very physical existence as a flesh and blood being? Have you done that yet? That is the very first step of the real education my friend. Your world needs heroes. Be Heroes!
