(From chapter on Getting Started at Stanford).Go ahead, go to all your parties. Go ahead and go home to your families and friends every weekend. You are probably smarter than me. But it doesn't matter. While you are goofing around, I'm gonna be studying, and I'm gonna catch you.

It is very difficult to understand man. It is also very difficult to understand what a man does. If he is able to give an explanation, it may be easier. Even then everything can not be understood. Words have their limitation and comprehension, its limits. So if we are able to understand 25% of what is being said, even that should be deemed, as good communication skills are very good. Beyond this one should not even aspire for.

Believe in yourself. Determine to pursue your goals.

If you need someone to explain morality to you, then you likely have little of it to draw from.

The future is as blank as a plane sheet if you don't have an eagle's eye, that's why you should climb to a vantage point to get a good perspective view at your future.

Believe in yourself, don't let no man define your future, work hard at your trade as if no man exist to help you and focus should be your lens against distractions.

I intend to achieve my goals during my lifetime, but if I fail, I will not rest even in the afterlife

Always plan no matter how improbable it seems. . The bill for hindsight is much more expensive than the reciept for foresight.

A plan is the transport medium which conveys a person from the station of dreams to the destination of success. Goals are the transport fees.

In you is a formidable force that can bring the desired change you want in the world. Stop waiting for the perfect time, go to work now!

Man is adept at navigating the globe and beyond - yet doubt finding his own destiny

When we set a goal we are fulfilling our destiny. Even if we do not reach it, we have changed our lives and the lives of others by attempting to reach it.

Divorce is the start point for a brand new life. Don't lose the chance to redesign it upon your dreams!
