To say that, __ will not agree (will not accept)_ is great egoism!

Worrying is the greatest egoism!

Worry is the greatest seed [cause] for the worldly life because worrying is the greatest egoism. If the egoism leaves, then worries will go away.

If one has egoism without my-ness, he will go to moksha; all this entrapment is there because of egoism with my-ness!

One_ is not a doer in this world. Where he believes that he is the doer, there is __harging_ (of karma). When one tastes egoistic pride of, __ did this samayik, I did these activities_, he will __harge_ (karma). The taste of egoistic pride is very sweet.

To run the worldly life, Egoism is not required. To bind [karma] for the next life, Egoism is required. If one doesn__ want the bondage for the next life, then also it is possible to conduct the worldly life without egoism. Entire worldly life is in the __ischarge_ form. So it will continue to __ischarge_ by itself.

The true instrument is that, with the help of which, the egoism and my-ness goes away.

Spontaneous and natural (sahajik) speech means there is not an iota of ego in it.

A good man cares about others. A good man has not only selfish desires. He is not only centered in himself. A bad man has no concern for others. He has only selfish concerns. He is centered in his own world.

The weak are dominated by their ego, the wise dominate their ego, and the intelligent are in a constant struggle against their ego.

Your level of ignorance is based on what you believe you know and your ego.

ego promenades, flounces, pushes in unwanted places, trips, stands on others, whereas a sense of destiny grounds - you just do what you do

Where the world comes in my way - and it comes in my way everywhere - I consume it to quiet the hunger of my egoism. For me you are nothing but - my food, even as I too am fed upon and turned to use by you. We have only one relation to each other, that of usableness, of utility, of use. We owe each other nothing, for what I seem to owe you I owe at most to myself. If I show you a cheery air in order to cheer you likewise, then your cheeriness is of consequence to me, and my air serves my wish; to a thousand others, whom I do not aim to cheer, I do not show it.

Shyness is just egoism out of its depth.

Friends can become enemies, and enemies can become friends. Ego and pride can turn what is good into bad, and kind words can turn what is bad into something good.

To seek truth requires one to ask the right questions. Those void of truth never ask about anything because their ego and arrogance prevent them from doing so. Therefore, they will always remain ignorant. Those on the right path to Truth are extremely heart-driven and childlike in their quest, always asking questions, always wanting to understand and know everything _ and are not afraid to admit they don't know something. However, every truth seeker does need to breakdown their ego first to see Truth. If the mind is in the way, the heart won't see anything.

The ego is what drives a self-serving individual who hates to admit they are wrong.
