Happiness is a beautiful fruit that tastes of cruelty.

It's the worst kind of cruelty _ the thoughtless kind. You can't cope with it.

Before, they had been beasts, their instincts fitly adapted to their surroundings, and happy as living things may be. So who is cruel? You, cruel reader, you are.
