Fairy tales thrive on black and white. In life, there__ only grey _ no bad guys, no good guys. You could be the Cheshire cat, Snow White, a troll or a pastry-making witch whose diet consists only of little kids, but you__l always be you.

Dear heart, we embrace the song and the story and all our gifts because the world has such great need, and because the world exceedingly rejoices, and because there is no sadder thing than to leave this world having never really shown up.

Authenticity is about what makes you, you. It is an expression of your beingness.

Being here is such a contrast to where I__ otherwise be.

I honour the clarity of the present moment, and the stillness at the centre of being (mine & others), even in the midst of so much doing.

If you learn to really sit with loneliness and embrace it for the gift that it is_an opportunity to get to know YOU, to learn how strong you really are, to depend on no one but YOU for your happiness_you will realize that a little loneliness goes a LONG way in creating a richer, deeper, more vibrant and colorful YOU.

Unfortunately, I am only myself. I am scared and alone and unsure, but I am practicing. I am scared and alone and unsure, but that doesn't mean I always will be.Like AJ repeating words, I can repeat being me, until I start to believe it.

We can't all succeed following the same path as successful men followed. Each person has it's own destiny. You might get stuck at any stage if it's not your way but you'll fly away if it's yours. Follow your mind and take serious anything you do.

After sounding a lot like other people in my decades of past I have found my own voice when I realized I needed Christ and in so doing I am becoming just like Him as time marches on.

Fashion should be a form of escapism, and not a form of imprisonment.

The thought of being whoever I want is a terrifying thing, because I have only ever been who everyone has wanted me to be.

I've learned that I have to stop equating saying yes with being a good person. I think I am being good when I say yes to everything, but saying yes to something I cannot live up to leads to bitterness and disappointment.

Letting go of "stuff" allowed the world to collapse behind me as I moved, so I became nothing more or less than who I simply was: Me.

When someone is nasty or treats you poorly, don't take it personally. It says nothing about you, but a lot about them.

I'm not here to be small, to compare, to judge (myself or you), to fit in or to be perfect. I'm here to grow, to learn, to love, to be human.

So from now on, screw "perfect." Forget for a while about what kind of person you want to be, and just be the best version of the person you are. Figure out which of your classmates you genuinely like (not who you want to like you), and get to know them by telling your own stories and listening to theirs. Hang out with the people you think are cool, not the people you'd like to be considered cool by. Do things because they interest you, not because they make you look interesting... and then, take stock in a month and see whether you're not happier, healthier, and working on some actual friendships with other imperfect-but-lovely humans.

Understand yourself, accept yourself, but do not be yourself.

You want to be a river? This is not necessary because you can be a river without being a river; just flow in your life, this is what the rivers are doing, they are flowing! Remember, you can be anything without giving up yourself. Never wish to be something else, always be yourself! You want to be a Sun? Just give warmth to everyone with kind words!
