My girlfriends and I talk a lot about feminism and the inequality between the way men and women are talked about, the kind of things we say are, __hy is it mischievous, fun and sexy if a guy has a string of lovers that he__ cast aside; loved and left? Yet if a woman dates three or four people in an eight-year period she is a serial dater and it gives some 12-year-old the idea to call her a __lut_ on the internet?_ It__ not the same for boys, it just isn__ and that__ a fact.

I wish [that when] I was 12 years old I'd been able to watch a video of my favourite actress explaining in such an intellectual, beautiful, poignant way the definition of feminism _ I would have understood it and then earlier on in my life I would have proudly claimed that I was a feminist, because I would have understood what the word means.

I think when it comes to females in the media you__l see something that kind of upsets me which is that females are pinned up against each other more so than men. You know, for example like you never see online __ote for who has the better butt - this actor or this actor._ It__ always like this female singer and this female singer. And you get to vote. I mean, it__ daily I see these things and these polls like __et us know who__ sexier, who__ the hotter momma_ and I just don__ see it like __ho__ the hotter dad_ you know? I think that one thing that I do believe as a feminist is that in order for us to have gender equality we have to stop making it a girl fight and we have to stop being so interested in seeing girls trying to tear each other down, it has to be more about cheering each other on as women. That__ just kind of how I feel about it.

And I'm dying to know, is it killing you like it's killing me? And the story of us looks a lot like a tragedy now.

I hope you know that you've given me the courage to change. I hope you know that who you are is who you choose to be, and that whispers behind your back don't define you. You are the only one who gets to decide what you will be remembered for.

Just being a human being, I__e realized that before every big problem you create for yourself, before every huge mess you have to clean up, there was a crucial moment where you could__e just said no.

If you__e the girl that needs a boyfriend, and once she loses that boyfriend needs to replace it with a different boyfriend, it__ just this constant stream of boyfriends all the time. I don__ feel like I ever want to be that girl. I want to be the girl that when she falls in love, it__ a big deal and it__ a rare thing.

You have people come into your life shockingly and surprisingly. You have losses that you never thought you__ experience. You have rejection and you have learn how to deal with that and how to get up the next day and go on with it.

Just because as human beings, what we can't have is what we reply in our head over and over again before we go to sleep.

There are two different categories of love. The first category is called a fairytale. The second category of love is called just another lesson

At some point you have to forget about grudges because they only hurt.

There are no rules when it comes to love. I just try to let love surprise me because you never know who you__e going to fall in love with. You never know who__ going to come into your life _ and for me, when I picture the person I want to end up with, I don__ think about what their career is, or what they look like. I picture the feeling I get when I__ with them.

If you think about human nature, our favourite pair of shoes are the ones we bought yesterday, our favourite thing is the newest thing that we have_and the thing we__e seen the most and for the longest period of time is our reflection in the mirror, so obviously that__ going to be our least favourite thing.
