Nothing lasts longer than a temporary government program.

In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem, government IS the problem. It isn't so much that liberals are ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't so.

Government does not solve problems. It subsidizes them.

You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down. Up to man's age-old dream -- the maximum of individual freedom consistent with order --or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism. Regardless of their sincerity, their humanitarian motives, those who would sacrifice freedom for security have embarked on this downward path.

Democracy is worth dying for, because it's the most deeply honorable form of government ever devised by man.

Why should we subsidize intellectual curiosity?

Yes, our country has its shortcomings, but there's no moral equivalency between democracy and totalitarianism_There's no moral equivalency between propaganda and the truth.
